How sound shapes attention before you try to control it.

The nervous system is highly responsive to rhythm.

From that position, working through something becomes less about effort and more about staying with what is already in front of you.

There is less urgency to move away from what you are doing. Thoughts don’t scatter as quickly. The need to constantly reset attention decreases.

Clarity doesn’t arrive as a sudden insight.

It appears gradually, in the absence of interruption.

And sometimes that is all that is required for something to become easier to see.
